Gold Rush Days are always held the third full weekend in October. It is a time for thousands to come and see fall colors peaking and celebrate Dahlonega’s 1828 discovery of gold. Over 200 art and craft exhibitors and food vendors gather around the Public Square and Historic District in support of this annual event. It is estimated that a crowd of over 200,000 visits over the weekend to join in the fun and excitement!

Art in the Park is a joint effort organized by Chestatee Artists and Dahlonega Art Alliance. This event is located in Hancock Park, just one block from Dahlonega’s downtown square, from 10 am to 5 pm. A variety of unique arts and crafts will be featured

DECEMBER

Christmas Market on Candy Cane Lane

Dahlonega, Ga.

The Christmas Market, hosted by the Dahlonega Woman’s Club (DWC), will be located at the Community House and Hancock Park, 111 North Park Street, Dahlonega, GA, one block north from “The Square,” . The Christmas Market is in conjunction with “Dahlonega’s Old Fashioned Christmas,” which draws visitors from all over Georgia and beyond. Members of DWC will be selling homemade food items and gift baskets, with all our proceeds assisting Lumpkin County children in need. Each merchant’s items will be juried with the goal of a variety of merchandise available for purchase
